Item was sent USPS flat rate instead of UPS as it said in the listing. They stuffed two heavy transformers into a USPS box (one metal cased, the other bakelite plastic cased) well, the bakelite case now has many cracks in it, there was no damage to the USPS box. It was the only transformer that I wanted.

In their listing they even answered my question “Any cracks or damage to the cases” by saying that there was not.

I sent them pictures of the damage and their reply was “we use professional packers and we will file a report with UPS”.

I have emailed them many times letting to let them know that they did NOT use UPS and that no one insures against POOR packing, no reply.

I even offered to settle for $10 so that I could bid on a case with no cracks if one ever comes up on eBay. No reply.

I know that the whole deal was not much money, not much at all, but I HATE to be ignored. Yes, I paid with PayPal.

I don’t want to return the item because I would be out at least $10 to return it (more if I put it in a bigger box).

Any ideas of what to do next other then forget the whole thing? I see where this seller gives people negs. even if they only give them neutrals.
