Ice cream makers bring back memories for many people of lazy summer days and warm summer evenings of childhood. You can enjoy frozen treats every summer, or any season for that matter. All you have to do is to choose the ice cream makers that you like the best.

There are basically 5 different types of ice cream makers. They are: the traditional hand crank, the electric, the combination hand crank and electric, the nostalgic, and the automatic ice cream makers. Which kind you get will depend on several factors.

First, you need to know how important sentiment is to you. If an old-fashioned ice cream maker is what you want, you will probably want a hand crank ice cream bucket. These come in different sizes from 4 quarts to 6 quarts. You can churn the ice cream just as your grandfather did using this type of set-up.

There are electric ice cream makers for sale that look and work just like the hand crank models in every way but one. They turn by an electric motor instead of by hand. You may feel that you do not have the strength or the perseverance to crank ice cream by hand until it is ready. An electric maker can do most of the work for you. All you will have to do is to check to make sure the ice keeps moving and add rock salt when necessary.

You might want the capability of using a hand crank at times, even though you generally prefer the electric motorized one. For you, there are ice cream makers that will do both. These are generally marketed as electric machines with a hand crank added into the package.

Another type of nostalgic ice cream maker is a carnival style machine. These are nostalgic in looks only. They may look like old fashioned ice cream makers, but they are really modern electric appliances. If you are more concerned with looks and convenience than authenticity, these might be for you.

A more modern type of ice cream machines are the automatic ones. These look nothing like the more traditional bucket-style ice cream makers. They look more like an average small kitchen appliance, such as a food processor or blender. They sit on the countertop and make frozen treats in about 30 minutes.

Ice cream is just a part of summer for most people. Many will eat ice cream year round, especially if they have the means to make it easily. With all the different types of ice cream makers, you are sure to find one that fits with your lifestyle.

All designer goods attract fakers, who manufacture an inferior product at a fraction of the cost, and make a very good profit out of you, the un-suspecting Buyer. Knowledge is power. You will save yourself from paying top prices for these cheap fakes by knowing what the genuine Hermes silk scarf should look like.

Do have a look through my Index Link to access all of the detailed guides.

Please click the YES button at the bottom if you find these guides useful, as it will help more people to see them.

Constructive feedback is always welcomed via the Ebay mailing system, or you can leave comments in my Guest Book.

Here is a quick selection of details from other Hermes scarf designs that have been faked….

Amours 1998 by Annie Faivre…. genuine title engraved on the bell…. fake lacks detail and pretty easy to spot!……….. DETAIL

Bouteilles a la Mer by Pierre Peron, 1960 and re-issued 2005…the fake is lacking a lot of colour…look at the floats… COLOUR

Christophe Columb decouvre l’Amerique 1992 by Carl de Parcevaux…. not too hard to see what is missing here………DETAIL and COLOUR

Le Jeu des Petit Bonheurs 2004 by Sophie de Seynes…. the fake misses out the title in the centre………………… DETAIL

Tibet II by Cathy Latham, issued 2002…. the fake is quite accurate at first sight but look at the title……………..DETAIL

I hope that you will have noticed that I have been trying to brainwash you into recognising that the COLOUR and DETAIL are the best ways to identify FAKE from GENUINE Hermes silk scarves. There are a large number of designs that have been faked. Assume that the scarf is fake until the Seller convinces you that their item is genuine. Look at the details and compare with known genuine scarves. Google key words “Hermes silk scarf” and that will take you to many good websites with photographs. Look at the Seller to see if they have sold a number of the designs on the fake list, or if they have sold a thousand items and this is their first Hermes. Either Seller should be treated with great caution.

More on the Rubicon, the “seller” posing as a disgruntled divorcee, Michaela Henderson, who just wants the money and to get rid of the vehicle. This transaction began at Craigs List and was quickly moved to “ebay motors” to place funds into escrow for the Jeep until it was received and inspected. Only after the buyers satisfaction was expressed was the money to pass from escrow to the “seller”. Problem is, the site was a fake. They had no PayPal options or normal options ebayers are used to enjoying, just a Money Gram International. This “site” had a link for an email to ebay, Inc. which was a mailto command to an email address at a domain called “cl-ebay.com”. The seller was contacted regarding a cash in hand pick up of the vehicle and not heard from again.
