Well worth the money; best vacuum ever made

Massager, Medicine & Health Products May 31st, 2008

Rainbow vacuums are simply the best vacuum you can buy. I’ve have used almost every vacuum on the market; and none even come close to the water system that makes Rainbow unique.

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT RAINBOW:

The water chamber keeps all dust and dirt from flying about (unlike bagged and bagless vacs).

The air in my house is practically dust free, even hours after I vacuum.

The Rainbow freshens and cleans the air as you vacuum.

Ends flea outbreaks quickly by drowning them in the water chamber (fleas can breed in vacuum bags, leading to a worse outbreak).

Gets dirt other vacs leave behind. Just use your old vacuum and then use the Rainbow in the same area. I promise the water will be filthy from all the dirt your old vac missed!

You can run the Rainbow with no attachments to clean the air and it literally pulls dust and pet hair out of the air. Dust that would otherwise be in your lungs.

No bags or filters to buy!

Any large objects vacuumed up by mistake bypass the motor completly and enter the water chamber, saving your vacuum from potential damage.

These things last forever! My 1980 D3C still runs like new!!!

WHAT I DON’T LIKE:

Emptying the water chamber after each use is annoying.

Somewhat cumbersome to pull around (like any canister vac).

That’s it, but the benefits of this vac make it worth these minor drawbacks.

If you are contemplating buying a Rainbow, you will not be disappointed. It is truly a must for anyone who cares about the quality of clean air, and don’t let the price scare you: you really are getting what you pay for. You will have this vac for MANY years to come.

Radical Islam filling moral vacuum: UK bishop

Massager, Medicine & Health Products May 31st, 2008

LONDON: A Pakistan born senior bishop has warned that the decline of Christianity in Britain has paved the way for radical Islam to fill a moral vacuum, a comment that could create a row over the relationship between Islam and the West.

The Bishop of Rochester, the Rt Rev Michael Nazir-Ali, claimed the “social and sexual” revolution of the 1960s had led to a steep decline in the influence of Christianity over society.

The bishop, who was born in Pakistan of Christian parents, said the decline of Christian values has created a “moral vacuum” which radical Islam is filling, the Daily Telegraph reported today.

In an article published in the magazine Standpoint, Nazir-Ali said Britain had become gripped by the doctrine of “endless self-indulgence” which had led to the destruction of family life, rising levels of drug abuse and drunkenness and mindless violence on the streets.

The outspokenness of Bishop of Rochester, who has become well-known as a defender of traditional Christianity, warned that radical Islam is now moving in to fill the void created by the decline of Christianity.

His comments are just the latest in a long line of combustible remarks he has made over the relationship between Islam and the West.

Earlier this year, he faced death threats when he said that that some parts of UK had become no-go areas for non-Muslims.

Last weekend he also courted controversy by claiming that the Church was not doing enough to convert British Muslims to Christianity.
